Somebody see's you!
When I got to the zoo yesterday, I heard splashing and knew Willy was in the water! I rushed down to his underwater exhibit to grab a few shots. Willy splashed around (mainly in the sun's reflection) for about 5 minutes. He played a quick game of "Peek-a-boo" with me before climbing out! It is always a treat when you see him in the water, no matter how long!
Resting Panda Bear

No worries about nuclear proliferation....No concerns about rising high prices of gasoline or real estate....No anxieties about Monday workdays....Not a care or concern.
It is a jam-packed day to focus on getting ample rest on that favorite rock, staying warm, and staring at the strange creatures with the weird flashes.

seen hopping on the side of our house while we were sitting outside because our power had been off for 6 hours. It is about 2 inches in length.

a zebra got into the lion exhibit
OK, so this is fake. They actually have this sitting by the walkway, right next to a sign about lions. It's got to scare little kids or gross out some adults.
Ungoliant's Kin

Scale: About the size of my hand, without fingers but with the thumb. Perhaps a little larger. Try clicking on the larger versions for a more realistic experience.
Although the photograph was taken in the tropical habitat area zoo, this specimen was in fact not part of the exhibit.

Lookout Mountain Lion
This lion female is at the southern end of Lookout Mountain at the zoo at Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden, Al. She was sleeping when I walked up to the outer fence fence. My camera makes a quiet bark sound when a picture is taken, and that sound got her attention. I should also note that this might be about the best results I've had using manual focus.
