Herd of cows being transported from Tamil nadu to Kerala for slaughter in a lorry ! They have to travel quite a distance stacked up together ..all standing ! I am a non vegetarian myself and so don't have any bragging rights in talking against animal slaughter ... the only consolation being i don't eat beef !

For the BBC's Assignment programme, Nina Robinson is reporting from Chicago's notorious south side and other deprived neighbourhoods in the city on the problem of dog fighting. The issue has been under the spotlight following the conviction of football star Michael Vick who has just been released from prison.
