A few nice names for animals images I found:
WESTERN SCREECH OWL

A stunned Western Screech Owl someone brought into the Aviary(flew into a window). I named him(her?) Yoda, for obvious reasons, but I think he is a master of the dark side of the force based on the dirty look he gave me.
RED CROSSBILL

This photo shows the unique bill for which they are named. It is specially designed for extracting seeds from conifer cones. This winter has been an invasion of these birds, along with the much rarer White-Winged Crossbill, and they have continued to hang around this spring.
